THE FAIRY GLEE
Distant
Mountain Faeroes
Candy
mountain, shores
Swimming
down the fairy glen,
they
daren'tgo fishing, no more
For
scared of little
Wee
folks and little trolls you see
Come
back efferently
Down
the sea sandy clammy shores
fairies
make their home,
They
live on crispy pancakes
Of
apple sliced cinnamon skies foam;
some
in
waters,
withered edged delights
Some
with bubble gum chased skies
With
whip cream pies and bananas sliced high
Ice
cream choclate cream sees the taste
Never
to fairys day
The
Mountains with legged dogs sitting with fashion frogs,
sitting
all night awake, waiting for the sight
Of
the fairy glens castle dreams
Reality
sets the screen
The
tree opens wide, atlas the Faeroes tucked inside
Sleepy
town rolls up the red carpet at dawn, the morning comes sleepily alone
Take
heed beware the tree is bare, one sight to see
The
fairy glee
